1916, Cast Bronze, thin planchet, 57.4mm, 42.60g, Ex-KarlGoetz.com collection

Obverse:  The British trawler, King Stephen, steams away on the horizon leaving L-19 German crew to drown on disabled zeppelin.

Reverse: "Cursed be the British at sea and cursed be your bad conscience - help seeking shipwrecked people had to drown.  February 2, 1916."

A great propaganda medal for Germany showing 'perceived' British atrocities.
