Obverse:  Perimeter inscription; "Wilhelm•Kronprinz•des•Deutschen•Reiches" (Wilhelm, Crown-Prince of the German Empire.) Bust left in Hussar uniform. Incuse "KGoetz " on truncated shoulder.

Reverse:  Young Siegfried, with sword, battles a four-headed hydra consisting of the allied Russian bear, Gallic coq, English unicorn, and Italian lion. Dated 1914-15.

Grade: VZ (XF)  A nice example of this hard to acquire piece.  Only a very small amount of cabinet friction is apparent on the hydra's elbow.
