Obverse: Bust, right, Chief of the General Staff, under an umbrella, in full uniform. Inscription, “It• Cadorna Gene–ralstabschef” (Cadorna, Italian Chief of Staff)
Reverse: Sisyphus pushing a boulder up a hill. Inscription, “Sisy–phos am Isonzo 1915-16” (Sisyphus at the Isonzo). The failed Isonzo battles were each time attributed by the Generalissimo to bad weather.
Lampooning the alleged statement by General Cadorna,, Goetz kindly gave him an umbrella!
