Reverse: Serpent around a marshalls staff and sword. In the background, mountains. A slab inscribed, “Erstiirmung des Lowcen” (Assault of Lovcen). In border, “Kapitulation – Montenegros 13. Januar 1916”.
To commemorate the capture of Mount Lovtchen in Montenegro on January 13, 1916 under General Koevess.
Surprisingly, this issue is pretty tough to come across and is only surpassed by a known 68mm cast silver example.
