Obverse: While in Belgrade, the Russian Ambassador von Hartwig, compensates an unsavory group of Serbians to murder the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
Reverse: One Serbian vagrant, with pistol in sash and hiding a bomb behind his back, skulks toward the Austrian border. It is nearing harvest time. 58 mm bronze.
Medal far darker brown patina than image indicates. No breaks or rub anywhere on the skin.
