Obverse: Atlas, carrying the globe and raining flames. “If there is a firm will, firm and determined being the same” K.Goetz incised into exergue rock form.
Reverse: The defeat of the European bull with patriotic quote by E. M. Arndt: “Whoever wants it firmly, firmly and unmoved, will burst the vault from the solid sky, to whom all spirits must bow and call, come and take, you take your own.”
Kienast lists this at 75mm suggesting he never saw one of these in hand or this is an oversized example. The 40mm struck pieces are what is usually encountered. Beautiful early patina example.
