ON THE AGENDA IN SPA
(Tagesordnung in Spa)
1920, Cast Bronze, Satirical medal, 59.5mm, 60gr.
Obverse: The German Michel walks a brambled path overburdened by the book, festooned with marker ribbons, containing all the rules of the Versailles Treaty
Reverse: Depicts the various conditions (not complete) Germany must follow e.g. The armed forces restricted to 100,000 soldiers, surrender of all dirigibles, reduction of ship tonnage, reparations in form of coal and gold supplies, and the prosecution of war criminals.
A crisply cast piece with attractive patina. An amazing amount of detail on the reverse including a needle in the eye of Germany.
