1918, Blackened Cast Iron, Commemorative medal, 58.3mm, 60.10g, Frankenhuis 1483.

Obverse:  Sunflower and peace palm tied together with ribbon. Legend, "Öl•Friede•mit •Rumænien" (Oil-peace with Rumania).

Reverse: German eagle on antique burning oil-lamp while a dove of peace presents an olive branch. In border, "Am 6. Mai 1918" (On May 6, 1918). K-G at base of lamp.

A very nice dark, crisp iron piece guarantees war time publication/issuance.
